Director Biography – Valerie Udeozor
Born in Los Angeles, Valerie Alleyne Udeozor has always had a thirst for creativity. A graduate of Howard University’s school of Fine Arts, she has penned and produced several stage plays that have been featured in various theaters in Los Angeles all the way to Wilberforce College in Ohio. Valerie’s non-profit Organization U-CARE Foundation has been a means to produce her writing projects and make a positive impact on her community. Plays include The Lockdown Club, Trapped & Decisions.
Valerie served as a consultant on the award winning stage play “STOP KISS” at the Pasadena Playhouse starring Sharon Leal and Angela Lin. Valerie’s latest stage play Roots of Deceit was performed at the Barbara Morrison Center for Performing Arts in 2017. Her hit stage play on cyber bullying was an official selection for the Atlanta Black Theater Festival 2015 at Morehouse College and was also performed at The 2017 Young African American Women’s Conference in Pasadena and for world famous rapper YG’s 4hundredwayze foundation in Compton. Valerie has collaborated with several entertainers this year writing pilots and screenplays coming very soon to theaters and television screens near you.
